I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Minnesota. My research is primarily focused on issues of health, illness and healing.

I received my Ph.D. in Sociology from Indiana University and my B.A. in Sociology and Health, Science, Society and Policy from Brandeis University.
